American Maid

The cocktail is a play off of the Irish Maid by Sam Ross. We adapted it to use bourbon and our Smoked Honey so we could make the very witty word play on "American Made" because of July 4th. 

Anyway:

American Maid

  • 2oz. Bourbon
  • .75oz lemon juice
  • .75oz Smoked Honey Simple Syrup (1:1 ratio of honey to hot water)
  • .5oz Elderflower liqueur
  • 2 slices of cucumber

Muddle cucumber into the shaker. Add ice, bourbon, elderflower liqueur, lemon juice and Smoked Honey Simple Syrup. Shake for 30 seconds and strain over a rocks. Add soda water to make it even more fun.
